Terms & Conditions for Applicants 10/11

To continue with this booking you must accept the terms and conditions:




All Applicants


  1. Each on-line application will be "approved". This is not a confirmed booking, rather it is an acknowledgement that an application has been made.
  2. If we have availability, we will follow this up with another email which will state that a room has been reserved for three (3) working days, to allow payment of a €300 booking deposit.
  3. If the deposit is not received within this time span, the provisional reservation will be cancelled.
  4. If all places are filled in the interim, Campus Accommodation Ltd. is not obliged to provide accommodation.
  5. Applications are processed on a strictly "first come, first served" basis.
  6. Please note that this is an application for accommodation and not a contractual agreement. Campus Accommodation Ltd. acting through its management reserves the right to decline an application.
  7. Should a tenant vacate the room before the termination date, rent will only be refunded if the room is re-let.
  8. Any student who takes up residence and for whatever reason subsequently vacates their room will not be refunded their deposit. The balance of their rent will be refunded as soon as the room is re-let to another student. In the event that the room is not re-let then the rent is not refunded.
  9. All choices here are preferences, they are not guarantees. We will endeavor to provide you with your preference however this may not always be possible, i.e. we do not guarantee who your apartment mates will be, we do not guarantee that you will get an en-suite.
  10. Completion of this form does not guarantee a place in a specific complex; we will however make every attempt to accommodate you within one of the Campus Accommodation complexes. If Campus Accommodation is fully booked we will endeavor to place you in a complex of equal quality.
  11. Any student who is in "twin room" accommodation must accept that Management reserves the right to refill any vacant beds as they see fit.


  12. Applications: Incoming First Years 10/11

  13. Applications are accepted for the entire occupancy period Friday 3rd September 20010 to Friday 3rd June 2011 only. Should a tenant vacate the room before the termination date, rent will only be refunded if the room is re-let.
  14. Any student who takes up residence and is subsequently offered a 2nd round/3rd round offer in another University will not be refunded their deposit. The balance of their rent will be refunded as soon as the room is re-let to another student. In the event that the room is not re-let then the rent is not refunded.


  15. Cancellation/Confirmation: Incoming First Years 10/11

  16. Cancellation or confirmation of your booking must be made via email to arrive before 12 midnight Wednesday 25th August 2010. Cancellation before or on this date will result in Campus Accommodation retaining €100 as an administration fee. Cancelling after this date results in the total loss of the booking deposit.


  17. Contract for Accommodation: Incoming First Years 10/11

  18. An invoice will be issued electronically from Thursday 26th August 2010. The outstanding rent and a utilities charge of €450 must be paid by Tuesday 31st August 2010. The final legal contract must be signed in person at Reception at check-in.

    Payment Schedule: Incoming First Years 10/11

  19. Payment for accommodation is expected to be paid in one instalment.
  20. Payment in two instalments attracts a €25.00 admin fee per instalment due to increased administration costs
  21. If paying in two instalments the payment dates are Tuesday 31st August 2010 for instalment one and Friday 3rd December 20010 for instalment two. If monies have not been received Campus Accommodation reserves the right to invalidate the application.
  22. There is a late payment fee of €50.00 per instalment.


  23. Applications: International, Postgraduate*, All non first year Undergraduates



  24. Applications are accepted for the entire occupancy period Friday 3rd September 2010 to Friday 3rd June 2011

    Applications: US Early Starts & Erasmus (Autumn, Spring & Full Year)

    US Early Starts & Erasmus applications are accepted for the period:

  25. Friday 13 August 2010-Friday 03 June 2011 (Full Year US Early Start)
  26. Friday 3rd September 2010-Friday 3rd June 2011 (Erasmus Full Year)
  27. Wednesday 13 August 2010-Friday 31 December 2010 (Autumn US Early Start)
  28. Friday 3rd September 2010-Friday 31st December 2010 (Erasmus & US Autumn term only)
  29. Monday 3rd January 2011-Friday 03 June 2011 (Spring US & Erasmus Spring term only)


  30. Cancellation/Confirmation: International, Postgraduate*, Undergraduate, US Early Starts 2010/2011



  31. Cancellation or confirmation of your booking must be made via email to arrive by 12 midnight Friday 30th July 2010. Cancellation before or on this date will result in Campus Accommodation retaining €100 as an administration fee. Cancelling after this date results in the total loss of the booking fee.

    Special Conditions for Residents of Dennehy’s Cross

    Dennehy’s Cross is a residential facility for postgraduate students based on a 50 year accommodation term: Friday 3rd September 2010 to Friday 19th August 2011.



    Cancellation/Confirmation: Dennehy’s Cross 2010/2011

  38. Cancellation or confirmation of your booking must be made via email to arrive by 12 midnight Friday 30th July 2010. Cancellation before or on this date will result in Campus Accommodation retaining €100 as an administration fee. Cancelling after this date results in the total loss of the booking fee.

    Contract for Accommodation: Dennehy’s Cross 2010/2011
  39. An invoice will be issued electronically from Tuesday 3rd August 2010. The outstanding rent and a utilities charge of €450 must be paid by Friday 6th August 2010. The final legal contract must be signed in person at Reception at check-in.

    Payment Schedule: Dennehy’s Cross2010/2011

  40. Payment for accommodation may be paid in three instalments.
  41. If paying in three instalments payment dates are Friday 6th August 2010, for instalment one, Friday 3rd December 2010 for instalment two and Friday 1st April 2011 for instalment three.
  42. If monies have not been received, Campus Accommodation Ltd reserves the right to invalidate the application.
  43. There is a late payment fee of €50.00 per instalment.

    Method of Payment

  44. All payments are processed online. Booking deposits are taken via Laser or credit card. Rent payments are by Credit Card only, due to limits placed on debit cards by banks. This is outside our control.

    Changes to Terms and Conditions

  45. Information on this application form is for the information of applicants, and may be subject to change.
